Add a Logo Image to Channel
There are a few channels that Schedules Direct does not provide a channel logo for. In some cases the channel does not have a logo. In some cases I suspect perhaps due to copyright/trademark. Is there a way to add my own images to these channels? Tried putting an image in the logos folder (following the callsign_d.png naming convention) but they seem to be ignored since SD doesn't provide an image for the channel.

Yes, just place a png file in the .\logos folder with the name matching the callsign of the station whose logo you want to add/replace (e.g. CNNHD.png). As far as size goes, I would keep it within what SD provides us at 360x270. Larger sizes will mean a larger MXF file since I embed the images in it as well.

I should add, you will need to run an update to create the new MXF file with the logo included.

So if I just drop the "_d" that will work? Thanks I'll give it a try.

Yes that works. Thanks. Follow up question. What are the determining factors that control whether or not the logo image is zoomed when the channel is highlighted? Some of my custom ones don't zoom. But they are not that big. For instance 203x36, and 94x26.

The size of the logo you see in [Tweak WMC] will tell you how big the logo will be when it has focus in the guide. If your logo is smaller than that, then it will be less. WMC doesn't stretch the logos to fit the boundaries.

Any particular logo you are looking for?

OPB radio (Oregon Public Broadcasting: PBS)
There are logos for the other OBP channels, PBS Kids etc. but not for OPB-FM. I've sort of cobbled one together but I'm not very pleased with it.
Basically adding "radio" to the basic OPB logo. The other channels have something usable that can be pulled down from their web site.

Local PBS stations can be tough. Here are a couple I found at logopedia and the broadcaster's website. You might be able to work with them.

That's the base logo I'm using too. But generically "radio" rather than "music" as it is primarily talk radio. My first attempt was horizontal. I may try vertical.

These are what I've come up with. Probably will go with the stacked one.
With WMC tweak set for medium size logo, width some where between about 360 and 400 stops zooming when in focus.

How about this one? The OPB will be dominant, but the "radio" should still be readable, maybe?

That "radio" lettering is a little too small on a 40 inch screen at 12 feet. On a 15 inch laptop it's good. But that's equivalent to about 72 inch screen at 12 feet.
Doubled the "radio" lettering size and also used the base image from OPB Plus so they have same size and alignment in the guide.
