WMC Win 10 iView Extra - unsupported browser altho using Edge

As per title, I am getting error 246000 in iView when going there via the iView extra installed with MCEWebView.

It tells me I have an unsupported browser although I have Edge as default. Also I cannot see any video when playing content in iView.

Is this a known issue? Can I specify another browser in the command line perhaps? Should i not use the shortcuts to MCL files?

Going to iview straight from Windows with Edge works fine.

I know WMC is a zombie on win10 but everything else seems to work.

isn't that add-in a bit old to know anything about edge?

maybe it is expecting to see internet explorer?

also, wouldn't it be better to post this in the add-ins section viewforum.php?f=9?

Ok, will do. From what i see, only an address is given so I expect the default browser will be used - but who knows...
