CNBC Channel change

#1

Post by geo100 » Thu Mar 23, 2023 7:10 am

CBNC in europe yesterday changed the frequency:
from
12.070 H, SR 27500, FEC 9/10, DVB-S2 – 8PSK
to
12.383 H, SR 27500, FEC 3/4, DVB-S2 – 8PSK

In WMC I made a fast channel search in 12.383 and added the new channel.
what has to be done in epg123? reset database?
Or do I only have to wait ;=)

regards Geerd

I have no experience with OTA channels, but it should just require the channel being matched up to the guide listing, nothing as drastic as a database reset.

This matching can happen automatically (if the channel number you added matches up with the channel number in the guide listings) or can be done manually. If you have automatch enabled, it should happen automatically when your guide is next updated. Otherwise you can map the channel to the guide data manually. See the link below.

In the client tool, look for the new channel in the left pane to see if it is linked to a service/lineup. If not, then use the "Manual Channel Matching" procedure in the below link.
