Well, times have changed. So far this does not work anymore...This started today.
EPG gets an error on the import and it fails, LoadMXF rejects it, due to some content. Guide is now empty
Maybe time for EPG123.....
Anyone else having issues ?
EDIT: Tried it today and it imported the guide perfectly. Maybe a bug ?
Import guide data into WMC without additional cost

While I wish it, and many other things, was free, I just paid for my 3rd year SD $25
50 cents a week is a bargain vs what we used to go thru with Rovi IMO.

No worries, ZAP2It was what Microsoft used before ROVI. In those days, guide data was almost flawless. This is what we are getting with this "free" setup. I only really did to TRY IT, to see how it worked and now it's a set and forget thing(I have it all scripted out), I have not seen an issue in 6+ months. I have not even touched it or thought about in quite a while.
I was going to go to EPG'123 and SD, not question, awesome software and amazing support, I was just going to hold tight till this option dies as it works great. It works well, and guide data is very accurate. I thought the end was here but, I guess not, it's working good now.
As soon as this dies and it is a matter of time, I will sign up day one (well after a few days), with EPG123 and SD. Not being cheap, it's just an option that works really well and is free..

For what it's worth, all I can say is that Windows Media Player is still working for me on Windows 10, but I have to program recordings manually for dates, times and channels, just like VCRs of yore.
