The way the addin is built currently font colors and font face's are hard coded. Changing them would be quite a project unless you are good at editing .dll's.

Never had Windows computer ( always Unix or Mac ) except for MCE, so no, never done .dll editing :-)

Either way, I've been putting the addin through its paces and besides little UI glitches in "Other Showings" screen, it works very well.

Thank you !

First, Thank you! Thank you!!! for this plugin. I have been looking for a way to retire my extenders due to their limitations while keeping the WAF high and your plugin has gone a long way to help me with my mission. I ultimately would like to hide the regular guide and use the plugin in place of it.

Thanks!

Eje

so far I haven't been able to figure out how to override the native guide button, but you can override the mini guide and add a button to launch this add-in.

I think I've finally figured it out. Should be working in 2.0.7 pending my testing.

I've added a color editor in version 2.0.7. You won't be able to change the font faces yet, but you will be able to change the colors.

This should work in version 2.0.7, but I don't have enough channels to really test it.

Read the wiki at the following link. It explains how to edit the registry to change the behavior of the MCE remote. You can change the keys that are sent when you press the guide button, and make your app respond to the new keys.

Thanks, that's the page I used. Took me a while to sort through what the bytes meant, but I've confirmed the changes I made work and don't break other buttons.

Thanks.
is there anyway to make thumbnail in the grid guide bigger ( or user changeable) ?
As it is, thumbnail is much smaller than in the built in guide and even on 50" Plasma from 10feet away I cant tell what it is
(I can post screenshot if needed)

I've increased the size by 50 pixels each side in 2.0.7, but that's as large as it can go.

Found a small bug. If you use the mini guide remembering the last channel will cause the full guide to only have a few channels. I'll post up a new version with the fix tomorrow.

I don't use your plugin, but I gotta say - you're on point with support/updates. Good job

Note:
If you've already encountered this error you must delete the following keys from C:\ProgramData\SharedGuideServer\SharedGuideSettings.xml

<saveGridRows></saveGridRows>
<saveLastIndex></saveLastIndex>
<saveFirstIndex></saveFirstIndex>

Honestly, I don't use it either, just a hobby project for me. I do my best to respond to user requests whenever possible :)

I dont use it either... yet. I hope to in few weeks....

Since Sky UK is getting ready to dump any possible way of getting their subscription in WMC/Media Portal, I think its right time to look for alternatives.
My family already pays for Fiber in Los Angeles, so I will just setup little server in the closet when I'm over and get my TV fix that way... ( UK TV, save for football and F1, is pretty much watered down version of US TV anyway... and they dont even have " It's always Sunny ... " here yet .. ? )

off topic , sorry.

I havent installed 2.0.8 yet, so I ask, is 'Other Showings' showing properly ?

I just installed the latest update and it is great! I tried out the new feature to override the native guide and that worked well also; however, I wanted to switch back to the normal guide, so I turned the override off. After rebooting, my guide button no longer works. How can I get it back?
