REVOLUTION on NBC

#1

Post by makryger » Tue Sep 11, 2012 10:11 pm

What would YOU do if suddenly you could no longer use your media center pc? No longer stream movies to your phone? No longer access TGB?!

Now imagine a world where absolutely nothing electronic works- no cars, no lights, no HTPC... nothing. And it's all one big conspiracy.

From the minds of JJ Abrams (Lost) and Jon Favreau (Iron Man) comes REVOLUTION.

The premiere of the TV show REVOLUTION is available now at http://www.hulu.com/revolution

What do you think? Good show? Good enough to make it a whole season?

I'll give it a few seasons. Sounds similar to Flashforward. I got into that show and it was cancelled after 1 season. I'm still waiting to find out why the whole world blacked out.

I'm going to give this a try. I'm a bit nervous about the JJ Abrams bit though - I stuck with Lost all the way through, have given up on Fringe and really liked Alcatraz but it was cancelled after one season.

I will definitely give it a try. There has been a lot of good tv scifi lately: walking dead, falling skies, I even enjoyed terra nova but it only lasted a year.

I'm looking forward to this show, but I think it will probably go the way of Terra Nova... a one-season-wonder.

Yeah I don't have high hopes for this. I'll give it a shot though.

Revolution wasn't bad, kinda generic. It will need some great writers to separate it from all the current/failed end of civilization shows.

Yeah... the only mystery is how does that heart-shaped locket magically cause light bulbs to turn on, and computers to boot.

I gave this show a few episodes, and I'm done. It really wasn't what I thought it would be.

Yeah, there's lots of fake sword fights and stuff, but it's fun. I think it will probably get canceled, but it's OK.

It seems to be picking up viewers. Not a particularly fast moving plot, but I like it so far. typical post-apocalyptic survival show.

Think of it as being like The Waltons, lots of horses and carts except with the odd M16

I'd watch it just to watch "Charlie". She's gorgeous.
