Ceton Linux Tuning Adapter

I have a Ceton Infinitv 6 and I managed to get it working, well "working", on Ubuntu 18.04. I say "working" because everything seems good from the card side of things just hasn't been authorized by Spectrum. Spectrum uses SDV so I need to install a tuning adapter. I see there are drivers for the tuning adapter that I need to install. Are there any updated drivers. I had to use the github drivers to get the cablecard working. will I need to attach the USB to the computer for the channels to come in?
