Can't you get a free one from your cable company?

tried calling cable company and got cable card activation tech guy eventually. He said local spectrum(twc) location should have free cords as you stated but they seem to be lost and confused at the idea of this cord and can not find me one lol. It looks like I might be able to order one from ceton for 15.99$

I am pretty sure these are standard cables for anyone who needs a tuning adapter. Pretty much anyone that gets a tuning adapter should also get one of these. TiVo boxes also need this cable to connect to the TA.

The Ceton eth uses a weird cable to connect to the tuning adapter, something like a mini usb B to a full size usb B cable. I would be extremely surprised if a cable company had any of these laying around actually.
