WMC says it can't reach the internet

I have a Windows 7 computer and a Ceton infiniTV 4 tuner. I use EPG123 and Schedules Direct. I got a new cable card from Xfinity and am trying to get it running. I'm running the TV setup and it is requiring me to input my Product Key. I found it and input it. Then WMC says it cannot access the internet. I have internet on the computer. I can go to a browser and go to any page on the internet. But apparently something is stopping WMC from accessing the internet. What can I do? I was thinking of reinstalling Windows 7. I already removed WMC and put it back on. I have asked this question elsewhere but have gotten no replies, and we are TV less without WMC.

Did you just replace your cable card or is this a new setup of a Ceton tuner? (if you just replaced a cable card there is no need to re-run TV setup)
