1.) Jailbroken iphone that currently has the My Media Center App installed.

2.) Someone with enough skills to run Clucth to decrypt and dump the app.

3.) Someone that can repackage the app as an .ipa. This will require someone to have developers account on apple.

This will create an .ipa file that we can all load with Cydia Impactor and our phones won't have to be jailbroken.

Steps 1 and 2 are complete - can anyone help with step 3?

Well thanks to BKennedy2’s hard work I have an MMC ipa to try to sideloaf. Thanks Bryan! However I have not been successful. Using Cydia Impactor I get as far as the “signing ap” stage and get one of two errors depending on how I tried to install it:

Or

I’ve tried several fixes suggest via google search with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

If anyone else wants to give it a shot, since we're getting stuck, the ipa is on my Dropbox - https://www.dropbox.com/s/biw01ittgfl6y ... 9.ipa?dl=0

it's an ipa file which you can unzip to get to the files and the raw binary

I believe I have re-signed the IPA from bryankennedy so we're theoretically at step 3. However, the binary that was dumped was 32-bit and every iPhone/iPad from the past few years is now 64-bit (iOS 11 doesn't even allow 32 bit apps). Basically, I've hammered through all the signing and repackaging errors so the error is now "This application does not support this device’s CPU type". I may have an old iPad at work that I can check tomorrow actually.

If we can get a 64-bit clutch dump from the 1.4.5 version of the IPA, we may get closer to getting this app back for all of us

Yeah, the original iPad minis were 32-bit, which is something I feared.

I have feelers our for other iDevices and should hopefully hear back from some folks tomorrow.

The app still works. The problem is that it has been removed from the App Store for some reason. That means you can’t download it onto new hardware unless you had it backed up on a pc.

To tell you the truth, I don't know if she has it or not but I'm thinking not. She just got the phone a few weeks ago. We still have the iPhone 7. Is there a way to transfer it to a PC to load or directly phone to phone?

Android is so much easier. You can just extract the apk with apps even available in the playstore or even with alternate app stores such as apkpure.

SUCCESS

I was able to install the re-signed IPA on my work iPad (which is still on iOS 10 so will still run 32 bit apps). If we can get a 64 bit dump of the app from Clutch, we should be able to get this app back on the latest devices!

I have an iPad Mini 4 right now (64 bit), but it has iOS 10.3.3 on it and I’m not finding a way to jailbreak it. Any thoughts on how to get Clutch on it?

Downgrading doesn’t appear to be an option anymore since Apple stopped signing older iOS versions.

It looks like there is no 10.3.3 jailbreak right now. You may have to try yet another 64 bit device with an older version of iOS :(

Yeah, I still have feelers out for a 64bit device with 10.2 or prior installed on it. Apparently 10.3.2 can be jailbroken, it just hasn’t been released publicly.

The only place I’ve seen devices that would work are on eBay for a few hundred dollars.

I have two iphone 7's with iOS 11.2 installed. One of them has the My MC app working because it been on the phone since it was new, is there any software that would allow me to transfer it to the other one? I tried AnyTrans, but no luck.

Also, I'm just seeing your thread. Are trying to get the app and get someone to submit it to app store or will what you''re working on only work for people with jail broken phones? Thanks!
