I remember some years ago using a keyboard sequence that could be initiated when watching a recorded video that would provide a few pages of information (as an overlay) about the video.
My Googling has failed me... Does anyone remember this?
Display video info overlay?

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
So I'll be able to find this in the future, type in 411 followed by Ctrl-D

I always used info 411 with a remote so I'm not sure how it works with a keyboard

Sorry! I should have been clearer. If you're using a keyboard type in 411 and when you see 411 on screen hit Ctrl-D. At that point the debug overlay opens.
I've always used a keyboard/mouse combo and have never owned a remote.
Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
Have a great holiday season!

Just in case anyone is wondering, to do this on the remote you press 411(i), where 411 is input on the number pad and (i) is the "info" or "i" button.
