We've heard this before, but...

Some Windows 10 machines supported now, others to follow in next release, we are told!

But only live TV. Their "DVR" still can't, you know, actually work as a DVR for DRM channels.

But hopefully, such support is coming. Let's be optimistic.

Even though this release was supposed to give DRM support to some windows 10 machines, like tablets and laptops, it did not work on my X-1 Carbon.

Let's see what the next release may bring.

I am now able to view DRM'ed content on all of my Windows 10 computers. Irony of all ironies, I cannot do so on my Windows 7 box.

I have an Intel NUC, a self-built box running an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T, and a Kangaroo, my X-1 Carbon, all running windows 10 and the Homerun App. I did install the windows store dvd player, but had already purchased it anyway in the past, so it cost me nothing to activate on these machines (although I had to de-activate some computers I was no longer using).

Of course, no recording ability yet, but I consider these steps real progress, and SD insists they are going to have DRM support for playback and recording in the future.

Great News!

If you type winver into Cortana and run it, winver will tell you what version of Win10 you are running.

What Versions is this working on?

On the Lenovo, and the Intel NUC I am running version 1607 build 14393.693 of Windows 10.

Will have to check the others when I get home tonight. I am willing to bet they all have the same Windows version.

Just thought of a couple more questions.

1) If you go to the IP address of your HDHR-3CC, what version of firmware are you using? (example... Version 20170302)

2) I heard rumor of others trying Plex and/or some other software as a DVR, heard any news as to how that is working out?

3) Has anyone tried Xbone or 360 with this setup?
