Bridging InfiniTV4 PCIe with Gigabit NIC Causes Speed Loss

I've got an issue I'm hoping someone here has a solution to..... of course :D
Awhile ago I moved my ceton into my win 2011 home server. This has been working very well for me except for one annoying issue. Now that my tuner is bridged to my gigabit nic, I have lost a substantial amount of network...
Last post
Bridging connects two different networks together at the data link layer to allow them to communicate with each other as if on the same network segment.
There's a whole lot of overhead with bridging. Especially when the bridging is being performed by the OS and not the network card.
Give this a...

I'm hoping someone here can help me! I am unable to tune one channel with SDV Error 1. I opened ticket # #EIV-267-21845 with Ceton support and their reply after a lengthy wait was Is channel 768 the only channel you receive SDV 1 errors on? An SDV 1 error means tuning resolution cannot be...

I did post to the Ceton support website as well.
Closing the loop on this issue - turns out Charter had a bad mapping for two channels. The frequencies were totally different on a cable card vs. the digital set top boxes. Luckily the 4th tech that came to my house also had a Ceton card @ home. He...

I have a 1st batch PCIe card as well. It's worked really well. I just ordered a USB version to add to my HTPC as I have no more open PCIe slots. I am hoping it will be a simple install. I was able to fix the disappearing issue. It was in fact stuck in network bridging mode.
After I fixed that, the card still wouldn't complete the WMC setup, and it wouldn't give me the host ID and data ID numbers that I need in order to pair it to my cable card. It also kept saying InfiniTV is not...

I've attached obscene amounts (~6) of InfiniTVs to the same machine. Any combination of USB and PCIe that you would like will work fine. You will need one TA per InfiniTV though. Also make sure to upgrade to the latest Ceton drivers so all 8 tuners will be enabled

Thanks for the feedback, but the Ceton application isn't really a task , so I'm inclined to say extras is a more appropriate place for it. I'll mention it, but I don't think it'll give moved at this point in time.

I don't have multiple ceton cards, but there are a few general principles of cabling that are important to know.
1) To maintain the highest signal strength as possible, you will want to split your signal as few times as possible. Each time you split your signal, you lost signal strength.
2) To...

Dropping when using bridging is often the result of a buggy/poor quality NIC being bridged with. That said, the newer drivers attempt to be more resilient against NIC driver issues.
I wasn't very detailed in my description of the problem because I wanted to be brief. The problem continued after I...
