Hi all, I'm located in Canada and have a Sony Bluray (BDV-E370) Home Theatre system which Netflix is dropping compatiblity for soon. The unit also has the ability to stream content from Windows 7 WMC. Therefore, is there a way to add Netflix to WMC which works in Canada?

The last time I had Netflix in WMC was using this:
However the developer has moved off WMC and so have I so I don’t know/think it still works.
I don’t think even if it works you would be able to stream to your BluRay player from WMC. My recommendation would be to get a Roku or similar stick, to...

Exasperated by the news that Channel 4 will only be showing one live F1 race next year (Silverstone), I finally decided to add a second LNB to my satellite dish to get Astra 19.2 and RTL. It turned out to be very easy to do, the most difficult bit being mechanical modifications to the dual LNB...

Hi Guys
I just came across the EPG123 guide software and have been able to setup my UK Freesat WMC HTPC with limited success. I ran option 1 then option 2 setup channels then did the schedules direct guide info. When i set a recording it records a different channel. The Sat card is a TBS6981.
Last post
Hi Gary l found the problem. Because of regional variations. I have to scan the transponders manually in WMC then go in to epg123 and unsubscribe and rename and re number. The only issue now is in epg123 client. I cannot change the service name so schedules direct can assign the correct logo.
If...

Hi,
is anyone else getting any pixelation on the above channel recently? Not sure if they've changed the codecs etc, but probably every 15-30sec, we're getting a lot of tearing/pixelation occurring, so much so, that we can't record from that channel anymore. Live tv is affected too ...

So I have to admit that I'm well out of touch with the whole HD / Sky card entitlement thing these days...
I have an old (white I think!) Sky card from about 5 years ago that is now set up as a FreesatFromSky card in a Dreambox purely to keep it alive - I don't use it to actually watch anything....

Sometimes it does update the entitlements, sometimes it doesn't. In 1 year I've had to put it in the sky box 2 times I think.
It doesn't take long to solve by putting the card into the sky box and reactivating.
Heard any news on how to fix the HD problem?
ok - I may try going back to oscam...

Here's an item to add to the When heck freezes over pile.

I totally disagree. 4k content on a 4k tv is quite noticeable. I think people talk themselves into not believing it because they don't want to buy another set.

Media Centre can indeed play h.264. The XBMC plugin uses libRTMP, which pulls from RTMP servers, which in this instance means Flash. I dare say some clever soul could update/write from new a MC plugin. I'd give it a good look if someone did, but I still don't think it's worth it.
