Just a quick post to see if any of our members are willing / able to make a small donation to help cover our running costs?
I completely understand that times are hard for a lot of folks and many people are unable to offer any financial support.
Please don't feel pressured into donating...

I have recently started to remove the splitters from my coax network since I am running the Cat wiring now. In doing so I have made my signals equal to

Were you experiencing a problem that was supposed to be fixed by the beta firmware? That is the only reason to ever use a beta firmware. As you discovered, you cannot downgrade.
The signal strength should be as close to zero as possible, but +/-7dB is good. The signal quality should be 35dB or...

I don't think the Ethernet ports on the FiOS boxes are activated. You can use the FiOS router as a dummy MoCA bridge. Your FiOS boxes will be able to pull guide data, as long as they have an IP on your local LAN.

I also checked and it looks like they have two different kinds of boxes, one with HDMI out and one with just coax. I am not sure what they offer in my local store. As I noted, I don't have digital in anyway.

The FCC has now approved the encryption of the basic tier for all-digital cable systems. The FCC defines an all-digital system as one in which no television signals are provided using the NTSC system (in other words, if there are no analog channels, the system is considered all-digital). The FCC...

So I recently moved into a rental, my previous home was smaller and I was able to wire cat 6 to every room. In this location the landlord does not want me to wire any cat 6 as I am not a pro lol. So what does this have to do with a drop amp?
It appears that every room had coax run through to it...
